HOW IT WILL WORK
TEMPORARY ACCOMMODATION FOR PETS
The idea is to provide temporary accommodation.
28 days at the maximum.
Where the pet can be cared for safely.
The pet will be offered:

De-sexing if needed

Diary updates to their human

Safe accommodation

Career - Paid Volunteer for charity

Food whilst in accommodation

Basic Training if there is none

Allowed visits interaction with their human

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
Are you able to provide accommodation for a pet that is fleeing a Domestic Violence Situation?
We would require shelter for the pets, and what better forms of shelters but boarding kennels.
We will in time build up a foster care list, but we know that boarding kennels offer comfortable loving accommodation that is ran by people who love animals as much as we do!

OUR PLAN...
Our plan is to support Domestic Violent victims or people having to flee their home.
We plan to gather statistics from local pounds to ascertain how many animals are being surrendered because of DV or separation/divorce.
We plan to then work with pounds to support them in getting the knowledge out there that there is a service to support them with regards to their pet whilst they get the support.
We plan to let different organisations know about this service to help support someone to have the courage to leave a abusive situation.
We plan to keep impressing the importance a family pet has on the healing journey for the victim, knowing that they can begin again with their much loved fury friend.
We plan to also educate Vetenarians on the signs to look for in a DV situation and how to offer them support by providing numbers for them and this service.
